Anteg Stead
The Anteg Stead was a faun stead located on the eastern bank of Hooth's River, in Fache Cove, directly opposite Keismeb in Unenshuut.
Demographics
Four familes: Anteg, S'kekik, Whitehorn, and Netar*.
*Related to the branch of the family in the Raille Stead in Kiva.
Government
As is faun tradition, they were overseen by a female elder.
History
Fache Cove came under scrutiny by the Pact of the Blessèd during the War of the Six as they sought new attack-points for a siege of Keismeb; the Anteg refused to be removed from the area but bartered the safe escort of their children and vulnerable (amounting to eleven) away from the conflict zones in exchange for the Pact's occupation and use of the cove. This barter was agreed on the 26th Day of the Season of Ripening, 988AC. However, the Anteg then attempted to undermine the siege launch (which began on the 25th) on the 26th, and those that remained were slaughtered.
The eleven members who were escorted away either did not make it out of the warzones or have since relocated elsewhere.
Points of interest
Fache Cove was the closest ferry-point to Keismeb and as such, the stead saw a decent amount of traffic by proximity; the minor wealth this brought perhaps lended the somewhat higher population of the stead.
