Frozen Lake

Nested between the mountains lies the Frozen Lake. Its huge source of water is not only housing many fish, which are one of the main food sources for Whitehaven, but also nourishes the surrounding trees offering important fire wood and building material. 

Secrets below Snow, Water and Ice

Deep below the surface of the lake rests Isidar, the Avalanche. After his relocation from Hailstone Peak, he dove deep into the lake to form a new chamber for him to call home. The huge masses of surrounding water started to freeze forming a dome insulating his space from the rest of the lake. The water remaining in his chamber started to slowly drain into the rocks below, leaving it cold and dry like he likes it.
