Lara

The wasteland of Lara are the former home of the Kundi race. No, it is a blasted hellscape, never having recovered from the acres wide fires of MS 4660. Following the fires, Shasarak defiled and removed all life-sustaining nutrients from the ground. Now, it is a land of dry scrub and dirt. The mountains are often the cause of mudslides and avalanches, and the valley has nothing for visitors but dust.

This map serves as the base map for all other maps in this game setting. It is a world map that shows the continents of both Northern and Southern Magnamund, separated by the Tentarias Sea.

Geography

Lara consists of a huge valleys with an accompanying mountain range to the north and west. The land is dry, grey, and cannot support life.

Climate

Lara is most often dry and hot. When rainstorms come across the mountain range and rain on valleys, they become acres of mudflats. They are difficult to pass, and people avoid even crossing the land during these times.

History

In MS 4660, Shasarak struck out against the Kundi. Being unable to find them, he razed the forests of Lara to the ground and using ancient magics rendered the land incapable of supporting life.

The Kundi fled to Azanam, where they live to this day.
