Luck was with our adventuring party. A pod of Kindori - a sort of space dolphin - appeared near the Moon Dancer. Thomas used his ability to communicated with animals and managed to convince the Kindori to tow the Moon Dancer to the wizard's tower in exchange for a barrel of fish. It takes a few days, but we eventually arrive at our destination. The crooked tower sits atop a small asteroid and it's dock appears far to rickety to tie the Moon Dancer to, so the party, along with Commodore Krux take the jolly boat the last 500 feet to the dock.
As the boat approaches the dock, the wizard Topolah is lounging upon a chair on the dock and shoos off several creatures, making room for the jolly boat to tie up on the dock. Topolah is pleased to once again meet Krux as introductions are made. The asteroid is abundant with birds and bird nests, both outside and inside of the tower. Autognomes are found all over the place taking care of household maintenance and chores as Krux explains why he brought the party here. It turns out that Topolah has been observing the goings on of our world via a huge telescope. Krux inquires Topolah about a map to Doomspace but she has not mapped that area of wild space yet. She does however offer the use of a wild space orrery - a sort of crystal globe which is used to navigate wild space if the party will help her with a creature that has been harassing her birds. Being used to giving something to get something, and desperately needing the navigation aid, the party agrees to take care of this. Topolah explains that her birds are being ravaged and harassed by a creature called a Void Scaver, which she calls Big Momma. As we board the jolly boat to make our way back to the Moon Dancer, Big Momma manages to sneak up on us and attack our small boat. The creature is large enough that it managed to entirely swallow Eeblock after biting him, but fortunately, during the fight, Eeblock was spit back out and managed to rejoin the fray. Thomas suffered a similar fate near the end of the battle and was near death when the Moon Dancer's mangonel managed to strike a fatal blow against the Void Scaver, causing it to spit out both Thomas and the remains of a dwarf. Eeblock is quick to render aid to Thomas, bringing him back from the brink of death.
Topolah, being thrilled that the party managed to take care of Big Momma, as well as impressed that they did it so quickly, not only handed over the orrery, but volunteered to pilot the Moon Dancer to an old ally of hers. This ally owes Topolah a favor and has no love for the Xaryxian Empire and also commands a fleet of ships. Topolah believes this potential ally can be convinced to aid the party in their quest. It is agreed that having an experienced, skilled Spelljammer piloting the Moon Dancer is a better option than Eeblock or Thomas struggling through the process so they all make their way back to the Moon Dancer to embark on their next quest to further the mission.
