As Flapjack - a flumph and our pilot - navigated Capt. Harry's ship the Moon Dancer ever higher and higher in the sky, the party could see the crystaline vines weren't just affecting the city of Arcadia but the entire kingdom. In fact, it became apparent that the entire world was under assault as the ship reached heights that weren't even thought of as possible. Capt. Harry joked that everybody should take a deep breath as the ship broke out of the planet's atmosphere and into space. Both Harry and Flapjack had a good laugh at the expense of the party trying to hold their breath when Thomas had finally given in and taken a breath. Harry then explained that the ship creates its own gravity field which is centered on the midline of the ship. It also creates an air bubble around itself. With just the few of them on the ship, there's plenty of air to make the journey to a place called the Rock of Bral.
Now that our rescuers had their laugh at our expense, Harry points out a large armada around our world and indicates that they are behind what's happening to our world and also the reason Harry and his shipped ended up on our world without a Helm. However, the specifics of what happened to him were a little vague and didn't feel as if he was being completely honest or thorough. Harry suggested we navigate to the dark side of the moon where we can get some rest before attempting to break the blockade and escape our planet. Once situated and out of sight of the armada, Jade, Thomas and Eeblock take another trip the Diner at the Edge of the Universe to acquire some items. Of the items acquired, a ring called the Second Chance ring which will restore much of the health of the wearer if the wearer were to be killed. After some brief discussion, Jade and Eeblock were determined to be the best options for this ring. They played a game of Rock, Parchment, Shears which was won by Jade. After returning from the diner, the party made the preparations to give Bob Biggins the most epic burial any adventurer could wish for. Harry showed the party how to operate the deck mounted Balista. Bob was then tied to a Balista bolt and was shot to the moon's surface as his final resting place.
After finally getting a solid rest in quite some time, the party moves up to the main deck as Capt. Harry instructs Flapjack to attempt to flee from the armada and set a course to the Rock of Bral. Unfortunately, one of the armada ships spice the Moon Dancer sailing away and begins pursuit. The Moon Dancer isn't fast enough to outrun the other ship so the party begins to prepare the balista for a battle. The Moon Dancer also has a shorter attack range than the pursuing vessel an suffers a few hits. Once the pursuing ship comes into range, the new balista crew shows that this is their first time operating one of these as the first shot misses. A second shot does strike the pursuing ship but does minimal damage. Once the pursuers are within boarding range, four creatures leap from their ship and glide their way towards the Moon Dancer. After a quick battle, 3 of the boarding creatures are slain before the 4th surrenders. At that point, the captain of the pursuing ship begins a parlay with the party. Thomas, feeling confident they could handle another assault if necessary, intimidates the other ship's captain into taking their crewman back, returning the armada and forgetting they ever set eyes on the Moon Dancer. Harry informs the party that the captain and most of the crew of the other ship are Astral Elve's and are not particularly pleasant beings.
