Mudras
By taking a rigid posture of the hand and the body, characters with the ability to perform Mudra channel Chi through their bodies. The list of Mudra that follows represents what is available to player characters. There are additional, powerful, secret Mudra practiced by various sects.
Mudra can not be taken at first level. Mudra are taught as disciplines through different organizations and sects. To learn a Mudra, a student must find a master (who has been practicing the Mudra for at least 5 years), learn from the master (1 month of study), and then make a successful ‘learn spell’ roll. When successful, the student may use their Mudra at will. If, at any time, a student forsakes a school or teacher of a particular Mudra, the master/school will do everything within it’s power to eliminate the false practioner.
The number in parentheses indicates Chi Points that must be available to use the power. These points are not expended. All Mudra must be actively employed to gain the benefit. No other actions are allowed except for psionic/chi attacks, defense, and powers unless otherwise stated.
Any Mudra that have a name sequence must also be learned in the name sequence (ex: You may not learn the Fourth Mudra of Unmoving before the Third Mudra of Unmoving).
