Description
After the Great War, an encampment was founded to begin the long process of recovery and accounting for all those lost in the Battle of the Demons' Blood Marshes. Acolytes of Nerull, The Scythe-Bearer, would take many years to tend to the passing of those lost in the black waters of the marsh. To honor the sacrifices of the human armies, the settlement was named in honor of one such unknown warrior: a soldier of Gimora among the slain, dissolving bodies of a half dozen Glabrezu. Completely destroyed by Esturk's forces in the Fourth Age, the current Gimoruk is a muddy and grim place. The crown is far away from here, and most citizens know they'll need to defend themselves against anyone or anything that would threaten them here. There's a strong sense of traditionalism here and resistance against the spreading non-orc cultures from elsewhere in Tarteria.- The Scythe’s Charnelcroft: A temple to Nerull, The Scythe-Bearer, tended to by his Groundskeepers.
