Halia

Halia is a lawless country settled by criminals and refugees displaced from other countries. Halia has a strong "live and let live" tenet. They are not allied with any countries that serve the Light, but have no desire to associate with the more Dark nations either.

This map serves as the base map for all other maps in this game setting. It is a world map that shows the continents of both Northern and Southern Magnamund, separated by the Tentarias Sea.

Culture

Halians are open and friendly, but take a strong live and let live attitude towards their neighbors. This leads to a very liberal outlook on others' proclivities. If somoene's beliefs and actions don't harm their neighbors, they will be let alone.

History

Over the history of Halia, it has accepted refugees from neighboring countries, often political dissidents. This has increased their population with individuals spoiling for conflict. So, while the rulership of Halia has avoided conflict, the populace is often ready to take up arms against some nation or another.

Trade & Transport

Not all of Halia's citizens have left their criminal ways so far behind. Many in southern Magnamund speak of Halia as the place to go for illicit goods and the hiring of mercenaries of a more questionable ethical bent.
