This map serves as the base map for all other maps in this game setting. It is a world map that shows the continents of both Northern and Southern Magnamund, separated by the Tentarias Sea.

Structure

Starn is ruled by a king, who is chosen from among the royal family. From there, the King coordinates duties through the various clans whose thanes have been assigned the same duties for centuries. The low population means that the various clans interact with each other more than one would normally see.

Culture

Starn is a community in decline. Their numbers are low and have diminished each century since the founding of this country. Young people often consider leaving Starn for Boden when they come of age. Only strong family anchors hold people to Storn. But, this is a community in decline.

History

Starn was formed by a group of Drodarin, or dwarf after the Cener Druids release the Great Plague. As the plague swept across Drodarin, or dwarf stronghold, a large settlement attached to Bor fled to Southern Magnamund.

Since then, they have formed alliances with Boden, but are extremely isolationist.

Technological Level

Unlike the other Drodarin, or dwarf nations, the dwarves of Starn do not have access to BoomPowder and Gunnery.

Foreign Relations

Starn has a strong alliance with Boden. Dwarves from Boden regularly travel to Starn to trade foodstuffs for the valuable minerals and gems located in the mountains here. Those dwarves claim to be carrying out mining excursions to those who ask.

Starn eschews relations with any other countries since Klarnos Mistakenly Attack Starn.

Agriculture & Industry

Starn is self-sustaining and farms enough to keep their population fed, but not much more. However, the kingdom of Starn has rich mineral deposits, and is one of Magnamund's strongest sources of Bronin.
