Duskdrift
The seat of power for the Lord of the Hills, Duskdrift is a city of farmers and brewers that produces much Requiems ale and food in its surrounding area. At its centre is Oldstone Keep, which was once belonged to Solaris. Duskdrift is a relatively quiet place thanks to its population of farmers. It's had moments of excitement but its location away from many major trade routes means it sees little travellers and more labourers. Due to its quiet nature and large artisan sector, Duskdrift has become a relatively large simple commerce hub for businesses looking to do quiet trade outside of the bustling nature of the Hilt.
Duskdrift does attract one kind of traveller: religious pilgrims. Oldstones history and Duskdrifts Church of Guardian see many take pilgrimages during the spring to visit, though most of Oldstone is off limits to the public.
Demographics
A large population of Halflings and humans are permanent residents of Duskdrift, with a small demographic of Owlin.
Government
Duskdrift is ruled by a mayor, who is appointed by the Lord of the Hills. Due to Duskdrift being the seat for the Lord of the Hills, there are moments where the mayors power over the town is minimal.
