Valcoast
Valcoast is Requiems entry into world trade by sea. Its harbours are said to always be full of merchant vessels crossing the Pinnacle or about to make the trek. It's a massive hot spot for trade of all kinds and has attracted a large population for that. It's said if it can't be found in Valcoast, that means you need to go to Darkroad. Valcoast is one of the largest importers of lumber and food, as its also one of the worlds largest ship yards. The shipwrights of Valcoast are well regarded as the worlds best.
Valcoast is also known for the Thawning, its annual Festival of Thaw celebrating the end of winter. It's a celebration of drinking, with two days dedicated to parties in the street.
Demographics
Valcoast sees all kinds. It's known for its large Gnome population, sizeable human population, and a recent spike in Orcs.
Government
Valcoast is run by a mayor, who is appointed by the Lord of the Bay. The mayor also has a council of trusted advisors.
