Otherwise called Corporate Space, the Expanse is characterized by its mostly private ownership under the competing private entities both within the Corporate Assembly the Red Sun Commonwealth and other private megacorps who have carved out their own hyper capitalist states. Quality of life here can vary greatly, from the idealistic garden worlds occupied by the upper management class to massive city planets like Aurum V or Anatar, where the weight at the bottom of cities is crushing. This inequality has led to the rise of the Dragon Resistance , who have been striking out against the corporate overlords, even within the Core.
