Larúnas
Núrakic: Larúnas /laːruːnaːs/
Larúnean: Larúnas /laːɾunaːs/
Larúnas is the region between Núrak to the north and the Þatal Plains to the south, stretching from the coast of Silver Sea to the west up to the Sjorgús Mountains foothills to the east.
The region was once inhabited by various elven tribes related to the Þataleans to the south and -for the first few centuries after the fall of Paþaría- ruled by Larúneans who migrated there from Nemirkía. Dragons scoured the towns and cities there around 500 a.Paþ, and Larúnas has been sparsely populated since then, as keeping dragons away from new settlements has proven difficult at best.

Geography
The land and wildlife of Larúnas somewhat resembles that of southern Núrak in many ways, though with warmer climate and somewhat sparser forests, especially south of the river Lírúl. The terrain is also less rugged, aside from the eastern part.
Fauna & Flora
Dragons have seasonally flown to the region since the early 6th century a.Paþ, though their numbers vary greatly each year, and occasionally none come at all. Bands of mercenaries and glory-seekers travel to the region during summer to keep the dragons' numbers in check, both to minimize their attacks on neighbouring countries and to sell their remains for high prize back home.
