Glimmertide
Glimmertide is a picturesque city located at the southernmost tip of Emberland and boasts a stunning setting near the convergence of a river that follows the base of the majestic Shatterscale Mountains. The region's mineral-rich waters originating from the Glistening Meadows in the north make their way down the river, depositing small crystals into the bay and transforming the surrounding sands into a mesmerizing display of bright and colorful hues.
Despite its idyllic appearance, the region is occasionally subjected to Hardwater Rains originating from the Glistening Meadows. This unique meteorological phenomenon involves rain with a high mineral content, leading to the formation of small, flaky crystal deposits upon contact with surfaces. In instances of intense storms, the rain may transform into hail, producing small crystal shards that have the potential to cause significant damage.
Geography
The geographical terrain of the area features predominantly flat expanses, making it susceptible to flooding during heavy rainfall. In rare occurrences, there is a possibility of hardwater rain, which can result in the formation of flaky crystal deposits when it comes into contact with surfaces.
Climate
The region's climate is significantly dry due to its location on the leeward side of the Shatterscale Mountains. Despite the leeward position, strong winds from the ocean persist, as the presence of the Shattered Archipelagos does little to diminish their force. Hardwater Rainfall can occur here, under very specific circumstances.
