Apalachicola River

The Apalachicola River is a major river that's source emerges from somewhere deep within the Apps Mountains. The river flows south from the mountains, acting as the border between the Mersan Union and the Kingdom of Bamard. It then flows through the Kingdom of Forard, acting as a major source of trade and commerce for nearly every settlement along its length. It flows into the Circle Sea, and has some minor splits that create the Ecofina and Noli Rivers. The river is a fairly calm and passable river, but quite wide at parts. There are only two bridges that cross it, one at Shorville, and the other at San George. Both of these crossings are tightly watched and taxed, so a thriving trade in river shipping and ferries also exists at other points along the river.
