Laura Forests
Located west of the Apps Mountains, bordered by the Eficharistos River to the west and south, and separated by hills with the Patridaxos, the Laura Forests are part of the Shin Empire. These forests are known as some of the most temperate lands of the empire, and are often the most neglected by imperial authorities. Population in the region is sparse and exists among a series of handful of isolated villages and farmsteads, connected by dirt roads and trails. Hunters abound through the region, and the most populated center is the Shin town of Laurinium, from which the forests receive their name. Shin military patrols in the region are some of the primary places for the military auxiliary to receive experience and action, as Sypi tribes often cross the Eficharistos to raid.
