The Appsdilyxos

The region known as the Appdilyxos is a heavily wooded mountainous area that marks the northwestern foothills of the Apps Mountains. It is best known as the area between the Apps Mountains themselves in the east and Lake Xiros in the west. The Shin also use the term for the area east of the Ptosi River in their empire, although officials occasionally frown upon the usage of Alsonan language and conversation in the Empire. The Appdilyxos forests are thick with tall trees and rough terrain. Caves and hidden burrows abound throughout the region, and hidden enclaves of gnomes, dwarves, and goblins are all very common. More powerful monsters occasionally also nest in these areas, but efforts by the Shin Legions and the Alsonan Rangers are often cooperative in eliminating the worst of these threats.
