Caro Highlands
The Caro Highlands are bordered by the Apps Mountains to the west, the Endless Ocean to the east, the Savanna River to the south, and the Peedee River to the north. The Caro Highlands are best known as the wild frontier of the Kingdom of Recfrere. They have been fought over constantly over the centuries, due to constant raids by orcs, wars with Populres and the Mersan Union, and civil unrest among the Recfrerans themselves. The highlands are sparsely populated compared to other regions, which means that it's simple to find dens of kobolds or goblins nestling in the hills or forests, and bandits and deserters make many places their home too.
