Emerald Coast

The Emerald Coast consists of the region between the Dread Bayou and the Jakonian Peninsula. The Emerald Coast is named for the thick forests and grasslands that end nearly directly upon the coastline itself. The foliage is thick along this coast, but some of the best protected harbors on the Circle Sea exist in this region. Not as flat and low laying as the Jakonian Peninsula, the area near the sea is still mostly rolling slopes and sandy beaches, but the interior of the Emerald Coast has several small hill ranges, unlike the eastern peninsula.
