Dragonguard Sentinel

The Dragonguard Sentinels are elite guards responsible for protecting the Dragonguard council members and the headquarters complex. In addition to their duties at the headquarters, they also serve as the guardians of Eldyra, as the headquarters is situated in the city.
Sentinels can be distinguished from other units by their distinctive uniform, unique insignia, and the formidable weapons they carry. There are primarily two types of units within the Sentinels. The ground force is comprised of elite soldiers who are accompanied by drakes. The aerial unit consists of skilled warriors who ride dragons to patrol and protect the skies, ensuring the safety and security of the city.
The Sentinels are a specially trained group of guards that are exclusively tasked with protecting the Dragonguard headquarters, ensuring the safety of the city in which it is located, and providing security detail for council members as they go about their duties.

History

The Sentinal units were established in 897 as part of the formation of the Dragonguard Alliance. Their inception coincided with the impending outbreak of the Draconian War. Their primary function was to ensure the protection of high-ranking officials, headquarters, and the city itself. Essentially serving as bodyguards, they were responsible for the personal security and safety of the esteemed officials.
