Pirate Tales: Dragonspire Lair
Many pirates have spoken of a dragon's lair nestled high in the treacherous Shatterscale Mountains, a place inaccessible to humans, called Dragonspire. Legend has it that Ancient Dragonkin, rumored to still roam Azlov, resides there. Many speculate that untold treasures lie hidden in those formidable peaks, yet despite numerous attempts, no one has succeeded in locating the fabled lair.
The area is reportedly situated to the north of the Shatterscale Pass and in close proximity to the top of the Shatterscale Rift. It is nestled amidst the peaks of the mountains on the Emberland side.
I heard there are treasures centuries old stashed up in those mountains, in a cave carved out by ancient dragons. They call it "Dragonspire".
I don't know about this "Dragonspire". After all these years of flying on the backs of dragons, and no one's found it? Sounds like a fable to me.
Anyone who manages to find the location of Dragonspire has probably been killed by the Ancients that guard it.
Trying to find that place is almost as much of a waste of time as trying to find the World Hole. And just as dangerous!
I don't know which is more dangerous, trying to find the World Hole or Dragonspire.
Searching for Dragonspire will have the same outcome as searching for the World Hole. The death of an entire crew.
