Pirate Tales: The World Hole

Legend has it that there exists a massive void at the center of the world's largest ocean. This void, often referred to as the "world's edge" by pirates, is said to pull the ocean's waters into its depths. The exact location of this phenomenon remains shrouded in mystery, as the sheer vastness of the ocean makes it nearly impossible to explore fully.   Adding to the air of mystery is the tale of the fearsome sea serpent known as the Void Leviathan. It is said that this colossal creature prowls the ocean, attacking any daring pirates who stray too far from the safety of the coastline.   Rumors suggest that the World Hole may have originated from the collapse of an ancient volcano, leaving behind a colossal submerged cave. Some believe that this cave holds untold treasures hidden within its depths.   The expansive cavern provides more than enough space for dragons to soar freely within its vast expanse.

It is said the Void Leviathan guards an island in the middle of that ocean and will sink any ship that gets too close.
— Pirate
I will not sail with a captain who even dares to have the idea of venturing to that lone island in the ocean.
— Pirate
I've heard it's not an island the Void Leviathan guards, but a large hole where the ocean drains into. A World Hole, if you will.
— Pirate
Some treasures are not worth pursuing. And whatever lies with the World Hole is one of them.
— Pirate
I don't know which is more dangerous, trying to find the World Hole or Dragonspire.
— Pirate
Searching for Dragonspire will have the same outcome as searching for the World Hole. The death of an entire crew.
— Pirate Captain
