Panaia
The homeworld of the Panau species. Panaia is in an orbit that is close to its parent star, and this makes the world mostly desert. It is survivable by the creatures that evolved there, however.
Panaia has become a huge curiosity of the Hyperion Federation. They have never before seen sand talk to them and move without the help of the wind.
Likewise, the Panau themselves are curious aobut the HF, previously having thought that they were the only sentient species. Additionally, their Phelke made them experience things they thought impossible, body swapping.
Although Panaia is located in the Arcturus Galaxy, it is within the Unreachable Star Cluster. The native factions have not discovered it, but the HF has. The HF has not told the Alti Dominion about this as they would just want conquest, but the Republic of Miasi has been informed of the species.
