Beast
Beasts are a category of creatures consisting of non-humanoid animals. Most beasts lack magical characteristics, intelligence, society, and language, and are native to the Material Plane and are part of the world’s natural ecology. Beasts include "ordinary" animals, as well as giant or dire variations of animals. Domestic beasts can be used for a variety of purposes, including as livestock, mounts, or beasts of burden.
In late Felim 4A 995, the Zenethian Children fought several Krenshar in the forest south of Hometown. Grupe took one of the Krenshar hides and crafted a set of armor for Trip. In early 4A 995, the Zenethian Children entered an old temple to Zenethia in Branca, the Kingdom of the South. They encountered several Dire Bats and a Dire Wolverine that attacked them. Afterwards, they discovered the wolverine's litter, and Brigitte took one as her own and named it Fifi. In 4A 995, as the Zenethian Children were crossing beneath the Ochre River in Burland, the Kingdom of the North, they fought several Giant Centipedes in the tunnel. 4A 996
In early 4A 996, Grupe tamed a sandworm and named it Rex. The sandworm was used by Grupe to dig part of the accessway tunnel allowing the orc prisoners to escape from Stephan's Folly. In 4A 996, after Trip, the One Who Fell, was killed, Brigitte left Fifi to guard her body in Endor, the First Mountain.
During the fighting at the Steel Soul Arena, Daedra Sen was Polymorphed into a Tyrannosaurus Rex by Galaduath Valaran's magic. 5A 023
On 12 Naerui 5A 023, Kholvek Vundruk, Braavak, Ganbaatar, and Chotgorrin battled several Trolls and Polar Bears in the wreck of the Vikramadi. Later at the Urskan Crevasse, they fought more Trolls and Polar Bears while battling Hagillr, the Lone Hailstone. 5A 178
On 21 Sedaena 5A 178, Luyos battled a Stirge, Giant Rats, and a large Spider in the depths of the Horukzul Caverns. Later, at the Fane of the Fire Egg, Luyos battled against a spectral Fifi summoned to defend the drake egg held there. 5A 351
On 23 Sedaena 5A 351, the group of adventurers, the Turnip Tillers, defeated a Brain Hood that had taken over a druid wild shaped into a Polar Bear beneath Bridon Tillage. Over the next two days, small beasts would emerged from the revealed tunnel in town, and Borga Gorehide and Tanya Applebough would defeat the creatures, including Giant Centipedes and a Stirge. On 25 Sedaena 5A 351, the Turnip Tillers entered the Underdark where they saw signs of other creatures. At one point, Theryn saw a Giant Centipede scuttling away. 5A 352
After leaving New Keeleon on 27 Madaet 5A 352, Chaka saw Wild Boar and a Maned Wolf in the Northern Orcish Plains. When Romulus travelled through the same area around the same time, he also spotted Wild Boar. On 29 Madaet 5A 352, the Provideniye came to the aid of the Testudo at Rune Pike, which was under attack from several Harpies. The Harpies were throwing the crew of the ships into the sea to feed on the floatsam caused by Reef Sharks. When the Campaign Two party visited the Hero Hunters Facility in Porgorag in 5A 352, there were several statues of creatures in the courtyard. One of these statues was of a Dire Wolf. On 2 Adroth 5A 352, Romulus used Wild Shape to change into a Giant Wolf Spider in battle at the Hero Hunters Facility storage manor. After the battle, he turned into a badger to dig through the tunnels, and he turned into a Giant Wolf Spider again to explore the city sewers. In the evening of 2 Adroth 5A 352, Romulus used Wild Shape to change into a Giant Wolf Spider to flee out of the Darksteel Foundry warehouse with the Eight-Pronged Residuum Ring. On 3 Adroth 5A 352, the Campaign Two party entered the sewers of Porgorag and were attacked by several corrupted creatures, including Giant Frogs and Giant Rats. In the evening of 3 Adroth 5A 352, Romulus used Wild Shape to change into a Jaculi during the conversation and later battle with Coinguard Gim Gorod. Later, he transformed into a Bloodhound while investigating Gim Gorod's Residence. During the aid caravan's travel through the Northern Orcish Plains, Romulus repeatedly used Wild Shape during his overnight watches. This included becoming a panther on 4 Adroth, and a wolf on 6 Adroth and 8 Adroth. During their travel on 8 Adroth 5A 352, the Lightbringers found and avoided a Dire Pangolin in the Northern Orcish Plains. On 10 Adroth 5A 352, during a battle against several ankhegs, Romulus summoned a Giant Elk to clash with the alpha ankheg. On 12 Adroth 5A 352, the Lightbringers saw several hooded axe beaks at Kuad's Farm north of New Keeleon. That evening, Romulus Wild Shaped into a Water Snake. On 14 Adroth 5A 352, Romulus used Wild Shape to transform into a Giant Crab while battling Mudmutts in the Rexun River. On 16 Adroth 5A 352, Romulus used Wild Shape to transform into a dark-furred jackal while patrolling the Watermill Gallery. Later, he used Wild Shape to transform into a warhorse to chase Shur.

Campaign One: Zenethian Heroes
- Fifi: In an old temple to Zenethia in Branca, the Zenethian Children encountered a dire wolverine that attacked them. Afterwards, the party discovered the wolverine's litter, and Brigitte took one as her own and named it Fifi. Fifi later would guard the body of Trip, the One Who Fell, staying by her bedside in Endor, the First Mountain. Fifi's spirit was later set to defend the Fane of the Fire Egg, where she battled against Luyos in 5A 178.
- Rex: Grupe, the Monster Hunter, tamed a yound sandworm and named it Rex. Rex was able to bear Grupe on its back, and it also dug part of the accessway tunnel allowing the orc prisoners to escape from Stephan's Folly.
