Pirate Tales: Forgotten Forest

Legends about the Forgotten Forest on Ardenfell have sparked curiosity among pirates. There seems to be a strange anomaly within the dense forest where animals often get lost and cannot find their way out. Many creatures not native to the forest enter, only to die from exhaustion or be hunted by local fauna.
A few animals, however, appear to navigate the forest without issue. These include humans, certain species of drakes, a few small mammals, and Ancient Dragonkin.
Some speculate that the small mountain range concealed within the forest contains an unusual amount of metals and ores, which may disrupt the instinctual compasses of wildlife. However, no one is entirely certain if this is true.
Rumors have also surfaced about the existence of an Ancient Drake in the forest, known as "Drake of the West."

That forest creeps me out; way too dense, any man would get lost in there.
